These Mothers Need a Home!
Moms who turns to Good Counsel for help have exhausted every other option.
Laura’s story is another painful example.
She lost her job. Then she found out she was pregnant. When she couldn’t pay her rent, she was evicted. Most shocking of all, she asked her mother if she could move home. The heartbreaking answer: “Not if you’re pregnant!”
That night – five months pregnant – Laura slept on a park bench. By God’s grace, a family friend saw her there and brought her to Good Counsel.
And I’m so grateful. When Laura showed up at Good Counsel—pregnant, scared, lost, and all alone—your love took her in and provided her with everything she would need to prepare for her baby.
With December 31 just days away now, I need your help. I never know how many moms like Laura will turn to us in the days and weeks ahead. I am asking for you to give a gift today, so that I can say “yes” to every mom who needs us. Would you please give a generous year-end gift of love today?
I’m so grateful that I can depend on you as someone who cares deeply. For these moms and babies in need, you are a lifeline!
Your generous gift today will help us finish the year strong, ready to help more mothers like Laura and their babies in the New Year.
Thank you! May God bless you!
