"Good Counsel - South Jersey"

The local Advisory Board of Good Counsel-South Jersey organized when its members became acutely aware of the limited options for homeless pregnant women, many with small children. Serving the needs of this fragile population across the six counties of the Camden Diocese and the surrounding Delaware Valley, the new home,Good Counsel-South Jersey, will operate in the same fashion and uphold the same principals of other Good Counsel homes. With shelter and a support system, the women will have opportunities to acquire the life skills and job skills necessary to plan a budget and a future, raise their families, find employment, and become self-sufficient.

Good Counsel-South Jersey will provide programs that will help mothers find the healing path to a spiritual and emotional balance that will prepare them to nurture and cherish their children. The Good Counsel South Jersey Advisory Board's current efforts include building awareness, fundraising, seeking volunteers and finding a suitable location for the home.
