Did you know that Girl Scouts USA actively partners with Planned Parenthood? The national organization has known ties to big abortion and readily promotes pro-abortion groups and activists. For this reason, Good Counsel, joins the many pro-life groups who have banded together to launch a boycott of the sale of Girl Scout cookies, including LifeNews, the American Life League, the Pro-Life Action League, the Radiance Foundation, blogger Jill Stanek, the National Black Pro-Life Union, Issues4Life Foundation, and Life Coalition International. Providing a home for pregnant women with nowhere else to go is just the first step in what we strive to do for every woman who knocks on our door. We strive to provide a new beginning. Carol and her 8-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, recently visited a church where a baby-bottle campaign was in full swing. Kaitlyn was inspired by the efforts she witnessed and thought her Girl Scout troop could do a baby-bottle campaign for the babies of Good Counsel. Carol got in touch with JoAnn Dinoia, Program Development Specialist, and shared Kaitlyn’s plan. JoAnn met with the troop of almost 20 second graders from Cinnaminson and their parents, where she talked about the work of Good Counsel and shared pictures of some of the moms and babies we help. The Girl Scouts were very enthusiastic and eager to start their fundraising campaign. Read More
