Three Intentions
All of us – volunteers, staff, and benefactors – seek to be the eyes, ears, hands, feet and most of all the heart of Jesus for mothers and babies, themselves like widows and orphans. We seek to be the family God wants us to be in our fallen world.
Mary’s Missionaries pray habitually for three intentions:
- the moms and babies living in Good Counsel Homes
- those that come into contact with our homes
- the staff, benefactors and volunteers who support Good Counsel
A Commitment to Prayer
To be a member of Mary’s Missionaries, you simply commit to a form of prayer or sacrifice of your choosing.
There are literally hundreds of prayer options:
- praying the Holy Rosary daily or weekly
- an hour of adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament
- offering up a random act of kindness on a daily basis
- saying a Hail Mary and Our Father
- any other prayer or sacrifice of your choosing
These are just a few examples of offering prayer and kindness to the cause of Mary’s Missionaries.
