    • Acting as the pot utilizing out talent while accepting continual grace crafted from the Potter we bridge the gap created from our sins, building a foundation of belief, hope, and love. These qualities along with the fruits of the Spirit pave the way to humbling ourselves while stewarding with faith, lighting up our world for all to see.
Obeying God’s commands as we travel through our daily lives extends our heavenly Father’s love. When we speak and act for His glory the effect reflects the good that we have to offer.
Our Father doesn’t create junk and gifting us guardianship over His creation becomes an honor and responsibility that if taken sincerely and seriously affords us the freedom to follow our passions. We’ll respond to His calling and enrich the glory of His gifts.
We ask you Lord to bless the Moms, Babies and all affiliated with Good Counsel Homes with your perennial love and to guide all of us as our Father with your Holy Spirit to live according to your will – leading us away from temptation and delivering us from evil.
Please pray for my Nephew Sean who has yielded to his temptations and allowed His addictions to cloud out Love’s constant light. He has had an arduous life in his 28 years with little support (his mother passed when he was 11 and his father has had addiction problems that have essentially left Sean fatherless most of his life). He is presently being hospitalized for his latest suicidal bout with alcoholism and desperately needs our prayers and support. May our prayers help enlighten him to the gift that he is from God. May he as well as his father accept this gift, open it, and begin to live in the present. May our prayers assist Sean and his dad in understanding that God loves us for who He is and not for anything we do or don’t do. We are His creation and He has planted His Spirit within affording each of us genuine Spiritual talent, Heart, Ability, Personality, and Experience to cultivate and reflect into this world. Lord, make them aware of Your promise, if we draw near to You, You will draw near to us - giving us the faith of a mustard seed to develop and grow as part of His everlasting joy.
In the name of Christ we pray. Amen.

    • Christ planted the seed within and we need to cultivate our being with the Holy Spirit to give glory to our Creator. As we grow up and mature with the understanding of the power of Love, we begin to realize our greater purpose in life – to serve and to give.
As Christians, our ministry reveals itself in how we approach life on a daily basis. Are we more in tune to listen to Yahweh and act upon His intentions? When we accept our Savior and offer ourselves to a life of service rather than becoming enamored to a life of ‘serve us’ we find the true joy that Jesus alluded to while in our midst and look forward to sharing that joy with our neighbor.
As Christ promised, following the lit path, life will morph from heartache to a keepsake. For when we perpetually focus on fulfilling His will there is no time left to fret about our own feelings and emotions which usually leads us to stray into darkness. Giving and living for others using our talent to promote God’s glory will create the joy we are seeking and be our testimony to the genuine influence of Love.
We pray for a life of Love for in the end all that truly matters is that we acknowledge Jesus’ love for us by spreading that love to the world in which we live. May our Lord open are eyes to His grace allowing Light to replace darkness so we can become the creation He aspires us to be. ‘With God all things are possible’ and this reality starts with believing, conceiving, then acting in love achieving.
Lord, bless the Moms, Babies, and all connected to Good Counsel Homes. Also, hear all the petitions brought forth in The Journey to Sacrificial Love and bless them with your grace and mercy. May we all be drawn closer to your Divine Love.
In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.

    • God’s schedule is often different from our schedule; but God is always on time. Maturity takes time and He gives us a lifetime to learn His ways. Like water running over rock, eventually even the biggest boulder will become worn into a smooth pebble.
When we stray from focusing on God’s purpose we seem to always become overwhelmed, distraught, frustrated, depressed, angered, & defeated. These are all signals that we need to turn our attention back to living for His will, place our energy in fulfilling Christ’s intentions, and surrender our conscience to the Holy Spirit for guidance out of the dark and into the Light.
Lord, help us to remember to be patient, that you are not finished with us yet.
We pray for the Moms, Babies, and All engaged in Good Counsel Homes be accepting to your Living Water ever abundant in love, grace, & mercy. And that we all remain conscious of your will rather than our want.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    • “So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh- for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
For if you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out “Abba! Father!”
The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.” [Romans 8:12 – 17]
Yes, if we live in the light, focused on practicing the presence of God as our Savior taught us and perpetually leaning on the Spirit to guide us, He has promised us a rightful place as His child in the kingdom of heaven.
“… All things are possible to him who believes.” [Mark 9:23]
We pray for the Moms and babies of Good Counsel Homes to draw near to God, so He can draw near to them. That they live and act being led by the Spirit in all that they say and do. May we all stay focused on glorifying our Lord, being sons and daughters of God and brothers and sisters with Christ as we journey to Sacrificial Love.
In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
