You Made So Much Happen in 2019! We’ll Still Need You in 2020!

As the new year begins, it’s always satisfying for the staff and volunteers at Good Counsel to take a look back at everything that was accomplished during the previous year — so many emotions. There was heartbreak. There was despair. There was tragedy. But there was also healing, hope, and success! Just take a look at some of the measurable events in 2019…

• 120 mothers were sheltered
• 129 babies and toddlers were cared for        
• 44 babies were born
• 371,520 diapers were changed
• 15,809 hours of counseling spent with moms
• 268,920 meals were served
• 8280 hours of childcare were provided and 774 doctor’s visits          
• 665,760 lbs. of baby formula were consumed

So many numbers to prove the good that happens in our homes. What isn’t measurable, and what’s been the most important this year and will be in the new year, is love.

In a Good Counsel home, love is overwhelmingly abundant. Love is what moves us to action, with your ongoing prayerful and financial support, to save lives and help homeless, pregnant mothers begin a new life.
