As we joyously step into the new year, we are thrilled to share the heartwarming news that Good Counsel has been blessed with an extraordinary boom of babies— 41 new souls, double the number born this year compared to the last! The halls of our home are resound with the cries of 41 precious little ones, each a testament to mercy and love of our Lord, and the compassion and unwavering support of our incredible community.

We are grateful to the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, generous donors, and fervent prayer warriors who have poured their hearts into making a difference in the lives of these mothers and their newborns. It is a testament to the power of unity and the shared commitment to providing a safe and nurturing haven for those in need.

Our devoted Good Counsel family, has worked tirelessly to ensure that each mother receives the care and guidance necessary for a healthy pregnancy, childbirth and beyond. Their dedication goes beyond the call of duty, creating an atmosphere of warmth and support that makes our maternity homes true havens for expectant mothers.

All of us at Good Counsel would like to thank you for your support and prayers. Because of your generosity we were able to hold the hand of every pregnant woman who came to us through their pregnancy, delivery and postpartum bonding. And with your continued support, 41 tiny new lives are growing up safe and strong and loved not only by their mothers, but by Good Counsel house managers, resident advisors and child care professionals whom work selflessly in each of our homes setting the foundation for each child.

We know that these early days, weeks and months can be crucial in making sure children are not just properly nourished, but truly thriving. After a period of bonding, mothers ease back into their own lives. They are continuing education, applying for jobs and learning new skill sets essential for home ownership and parenting.
