Due to the extenuating circumstances caused by the Coronavirus, Good Counsel's From the Heart Dinner Dance on March 21st is canceled. However, your support is still needed!

Your support allows homeless, pregnant moms and babies to have the love and safety needed to grow and thrive.

  • On March 10th, two babies were born, only minutes apart. Both moms are living at our Staten Island home.
  • On the same day, Good Counsel celebrated its 35th Anniversary of helping more than 7,800 formerly homeless mothers and babies.
  • Since March 10th, 1985, 1,215 babies have been born to our Good Counsel mothers.
  • Angela, who spoke at our Staten Island Dinner Tuesday night, had nothing – no friends, no relatives, no support – when she walked in our door three years ago while six-months pregnant. In one year she finished high school with awards and honors, has a job, is living on her own, and planning to go to college.

Whether or not you were coming to our Dinner Dance on March 21st, would you please send a generous donation today. The Dinner Dance could have raised $75,000. That amount helps us with our bills of more than $300,000 this month. Your gift, no matter how large or small, helps us to provide food, warmth, counsel, safety, and free babysitting for our moms to return to school or go to work. Your gift is truly life-saving and life-changing.

Please be generous today. Your gift will help the 69 mothers and babies, including 12 moms who are pregnant, today in our 4 homes.

I'm praying for your good health and all of your intentions.  God bless you.

Peace,
Christopher Bell
President of Good Counsel
