The new year began with joyful news at the Bronx home. In the early hours of January 4, 2026, at 1:16 a.m., a healthy baby girl was welcomed into the world via C-section delivery.

Baby Luna arrived weighing 8 lbs. 14 oz. and measuring 20 inches long. After a very difficult pregnancy, her mother shared that every challenge was worth it to finally hold her daughter in her arms. Both mom and baby are currently recovering well at the hospital, with no concerns at this time.

As we step into a new year, Luna’s birth stands as a sign of hope, resilience, and new beginnings—made possible through compassion, perseverance, and the support of the Good Counsel community.
